Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. Biles was the first American female gymnast to ever win four gold medals in a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles was raised at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan area. Her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics while she was just 6. The coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix, where they went for an outing. Biles took home a gold medal for floor exercise and a bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of competition in 2011. Two years later, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Her consistency, her vivacious nature and high degree of challenge for her four eventsvault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercise -- set her out from the rest of the athletes.
