Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967 at Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. At an early age, her father began to take an interest in theater. While a student at Emory University he appeared in numerous productions in and outside of campus. In 1953, he joined the Air Force. While stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a play with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple got married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter and his wife quit the military in 1957, when they enrolled Walter as a student at Tulane University. The family relocated in 1960 into Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which lasted six years. The couple also had two children: Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also known by the name Lisa), and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known as Julie).
